India’s overstretch doctrine

By Sarfraz Ahmed Rana.

There is a widespread of profound disillusionment in bilateral talks between two regional hegemons – India and Pakistan. Here the cracker banged, talks underwent serious consequences, it’s been so far bonafide story of Comprehensive Bilateral – Composite dialogues between rival countries. Resumption of talks and then suspension has become a long-established normal practice in the state of affairs.

Indian desired to gain preponderant power followed by “Strategic over-extension doctrine” has been making region vulnerable employing its purposeful grand strategy in the region. By being too aggressive, Indian hawkish foreign policy goes up skyrocketed toward its neighboring countries have no legitimate justifications.

Indian raid in the Myanmar in past year, Modi’s open confession in Dhaka of launching subversive activities to destabilize the erstwhile eastern part of Pakistan, Ajit Doval; Indian National Security Advisor’s hatred speech at SASTRA university explaining tricks and pricks, Indian phantom in Afghanistan through TTP allegiance as Kow-boys of RAW, Indian strategy to prostrate China using Uighur card, last not but least the most recent arrest of RAW spy agent validated Indian involvement in destabilizing the country in Baluchistan – Southwestern province of the country are the variables which certainly helps to understand Indian imperatives of its grand strategy.

Seemingly, India has not been bothered by any level of talks with Pakistan until any external pressure coerces them to set up unplanned Stopover to Lahore.  Although, there are least hopes to come calm under existent regime in India. Of course wishful thinking; Indian future designs to bully Pakistan through forceful persuasion instead of diplomatic engagement in order to succeed in their objectives is part of their broader grand strategy.

While earlier this year Swedish think tank declared; India was the largest importer of major arms in 2011-15. In 2011-15 India’s imports were three times greater than those of either of its regional rivals: China and Pakistan. It’s an alarming situation, increasing Indian defense expenditure promoting arms race in the region by disturbing the balance of power that further upset the peace process mechanism.

It is nonetheless worth observing that the India cracks the whip when it comes to any defense or economic agreement engagement with Pakistan or any other regional country like China, Whether it is China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has concerned, F-16 Fighting Falcon deal with United States or the construction of Gwadar port, India has raises its groundless concerns over such developments merely to encumber synchronous regional growth to stand out only power house in the region.

Whereas, Indian attitude making situation more hostile by intensifying its efforts to get pre-dominance and unchallengeable status in South Asia which is barely a possible in the presence of another nuclear country – Pakistan.

India hitting hard to change the corridors of powers, from the US-India nuclear deal to Indo-France defense agreement and quest for the permanent seat in United Nation Security Council (UNSC) to bid for the membership of Nuclear Supplier Group (NSG). Although, India has so far got many blowbacks over the issue of a permanent seat in UNSC and to have a membership of NSG club even no high expectations by member countries perhaps due to Indian irresponsible role in regional politics.

Moreover, India propagating fiercely against Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal with more emphasis on Battlefield Range Ballistic Missiles (BRBM) largely known as Tactical weapons that these are small enough to steal by terrorist groups, in either way India lobbying against Pakistan’s arms forces to turn public opinion against them to bring their fighting spirit down against the enemy.

However, in the recent past, Pakistan’s foreign policy has relatively improved with much difference, ever since the democratic government took an in charge, Pakistan’s policies moving ahead pragmatically purely serving the national interest, maintaining cordial relations with its entire neighborhood. Unconditional visit of Pakistan’s PM to India to attend Modi’s oath taking ceremony was the first initiative that shows Pakistan’s willingness to normalize the diplomatic relation vis-a-vis India. However, India has not regarded Pakistan’s initiative by reciprocating equally instead India has been running across to dismiss foreign secretary level talks on ill-founded facts.

There is a rapid uplift in regional dynamics; Geo-strategic changes and the new wave of China-Pakistan strategic partnership maintained credible deterrence strategy in south Asia. While China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) could have been a game-changer if dealt sensibly. This multi-billion project might turn the coins completely in the favor of Pakistan by changing the destiny of generations in the longer run.

India has long been pursuing “Overstretched” “Overextended” policy in South Asia following its grand strategy. India should have reserved such designs that leading toward disaster and will create turbulent for itself.

As far as Indian lobbying at international level has concerned, Pakistan seized the opportunity to drum up all feasible evidence all together to utilize all best possible resources to reveal the world true Indian face behind the largest democracy. Pakistan also needs to engage reliable allies in raising its case on every international platform.

Don’t worry brother we will get NSG membership sooner or later..it does not matter…but first of all we will destabilize PAKISTAN and we are doing it successfully. It is know to all that today you are nothing but a terrorist state and if you guys are thinking that chinese will help you …..then you are in a wrong way brother. Because may be today China is a powerfull country but if they continue to challege U.S.A then within 15 to 20 yrs they will have the same fate as of RUSSIAN FEDERATION. No one can dare to stand up against U.S.A …..and if you dare then first of all you should know about THE GREAT “” ROTHSCHILD “”” Family…. For this family they was, is and will be the greatest superpower in the world.

shifting alliance and getting into US Block will no longer benefit India. As far as NSG is concerned it’s not only China who blocked Indian membership, there is one other country RUSSIA who also blocked it.
If you look into last one decade US is losing in the region, whereas Putin of Russia is gaining on each step, and region is reshaping itself, whereas India is betting on a weaker side..
