Russia Marks World War Two Victory

Russia on Monday 9th May, 2016 marked the Soviet Union victory over the Nazis in the World War 2. Russian President Vladimir Putin overlooked the event and watched the thousands of the troops marched across the cobbled square.

The event was used to encourage the morale of the forces to re enforce national identity and patriotism.

Russian President also used the event to display their sophisticated and modern arms to the world and in an address to the parade highlighted the threats to the world and willingness to eliminate the evil of terrorism.
