Interior Minister Slams US for Violating Pakistan’s Sovereignty

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Federal Interior Minister on Tuesday slammed US government for violating Pakistan’s sovereignty and sabotaging Afghan peace process. Interior Minister took this position after the announcement of Afghan Taliban Chief’s death in the Baluchistan, Pakistan claimed by US government.

While conducting a press conference Federal Interior Minister raised many questions on US claim on the death of Mullah Akhtar Mansoor. It was pointed out in the press conference that apparently no drone was used or violated Pakistan’s airspace and it has to be figured who was the person killed in the car along with the driver. While the passport and ID card was found from the surrounding of the burned car.

He also slammed US policy in the region, and clarified that it was Mullah Akhtar Mansoor under whose leadership Taliban were participating in the Murree talks process, which were witnessed by US and China. He further stated in his press conference that targeted killing of Afghan Taliban Chief has sabotaged the Afghan peace process in the region.

Interior Minister also informed that inquiry process has already been initiated to work out who is Muhammad Wali and how he got his National Identity Card and Pakistani Passport.
