Qadri distanced himself from Khan’s march

Dr. Tahir ul Qadri, head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek on Saturday said in a press conference that he will not join Imran Khan’s Raiwind march. There could be a chance of confrontation which will be harmful for his movement for the victims of Model Town.

Earlier on 3rd September, while addressing his followers in Rawalpindi rally, Dr. Tahir ul Qadri gave choice to his followers for march either towards Islamabad or Raiwind. This was also a hint that he might distance himself from PTI’s march towards Raiwind.

Pakistan Muslim League’s head Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain rejected the idea of march towards Raiwind. Similarly, other opposition parties have not yet confirmed their willingness to join PTI.
