Rotterdam central station is the main railway station of Rotterdam, Netherlands. Rotterdam railway station was opened for public in March 2014 and is currently taking an average over hundred thousand passengers a day.
Before 2nd World War the city of Rotterdam was without any railway station, however four different stations were around the city being used by the locals. The central station was initially built in 1957 and in the recent decades it passed through various reconstruction phases and the last time it was redesigned and completely overhauled in 2014.
