Joint Session of Parliament kick started, PTI boycotted the session

Joint session of parliament has just kick started today to discuss Indian aggression and situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will give government’s policy statement against the Indian aggression and will announce to support Kashmir cause.

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan today once again repeated his stance to boycott the joint session of the parliament.

Opposition parties have shown their concerns on PTI’s announcement to boycott joint session of parliament. Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah expressed his reservations on PTI’s boycott from the joint session and while talking to media requested Imran Khan to reconsider his decision to boycott joint session for the larger interests of Kashmir cause and highlighted the importance to give out a message of unity in support of Kashmiri people and the rest of the world.

Chairman Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also witnessed the joint session of the parliament and vowed to back the government  against the Indian aggression and to support the cause of Kashmir.

Imran Khan had yesterday announced to boycott the joint session of parliament and surprised all opposition parties with the decision. On Tuesday while talking to media from his Bani Gala residence Imran said his party members will not attend any session till the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif or Prime Minister follows opposition’s terms of reference for accountability.

Khan further said that Prime Minister has lost his authority after PANAMA revelations and they don not want  to legitimise him by attending the joint session, whereas his party has already backed the government on Indian aggression by joining All Parties Conference (APC).
