Nawaz Sharif re-elected as party president and took a hard position against PTI

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif re-elected as President of ruling PML N and after being elected as party president took a strong position against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf by saying all party leadership has spent time on containers and kept on dancing instead of serving the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Nawaz Sharif while addressing his party leaders and party members said people of the province are searching for their leader who promised them a Naya Pakistan, but we are building Naya Pakistan by bringing electricity, building new motorways. Nawaz Sharif without taking the name of Imran Khan criticized him and his party policies.

Earlier before Prime Minister’s speech, intra party elections of the party were held where Nawaz was elected as President of the party.

PML N’s senior party leader Raja Zafar Ul Haq was elected as Chairman of the part, both top positions of President and Chairman were elected unopposed.

Sartaj Aziz, Changaiz Marri, Sir Anjam Khan and Yaqoob Khan were elected as senior Vice Presidents of the party, whereas Pervaiz Rasheed was elected as the Secretary Finance of PML N.

Earlier on Monday afternoon Imran Khan announced to stage sit in protest in Islamabad on 2nd November. The decision was taken. The decision has been taken in party’s core committee meeting in which it is decided to change the date of protest. PTI had earlier planned to shut down Islamabad on 30th Oct but now PTI will be staging sit-in protest on 02nd Nov.

Imran Khan also criticized other opposition parties for not being on the same page against corruption. He said that the parties which are not coming out on roads along with us are least interested towards eradicating corruption from the roots of our system. Also, now his party won’t let PM govern the country unless he does not present himself for accountability in the wake of Panama Papers disclosures, Khan added.
