Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has done nothing wrong. Imran Khan will get nothing except embarrassment after shutting down Islamabad, he should trust the judicial system of country when he has filed an application in Supreme Court, Pervez Rasheed said in a statement.
Pervez Rasheed further said that Imran Khan doesn’t want the formation of TORs because he knows very well that PM hasn’t done anything wrong that is harmful to national interests. PM has always respected the rule of law even while doing his personal business, Rasheed said. He also added that Supreme Court of Pakistan has sent only a notice to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but hasn’t summoned him for the hearing of Panama-gate Scandal.
Another prominent leader of PMLN and Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that Islamabad would not freeze on 2nd Nov and instead, the attempt to lockdown Islamabad would be the end of political journey of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Talking to journalists, Ahsan Iqbal also said that Imran Khan’s style of politics is exactly parallel and similar to Hitler’s style of governance. Due to negative and immature politics of Imran Khan, Pakistan can never progress the way we want it to develop, Iqbal added.
Meanwhile, PMLN’s Abid Sher also said that PTI and Imran Khan want to create chaos in the country in the name of Panama Papers’ revelations.
A special committee meeting of PTI earlier on Saturday decided that there would be no compromise on the accountability of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The high-level meeting chaired by party chairman Imran Khan pledged to continue with their shutdown call of the Federal Capital at all costs on 2nd Nov.
