Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is the biggest political well-wisher of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Talking to media in Sukkur, Khursheed Shah said that PTI’s immature and faulty policies actually help the government to strengthen its political position.
Sharing his thoughts on current situation in the country, Khursheed Shah said that PPP would not lend its shoulders to support the government this time. However, PPP will have conversation with government only on one condition; if government accepts the four demands that were being put forward by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during PPP’s Salam-e-Shuhada Rally, he added. Justifying the party’s decision, Opposition Leader said that refusal to talk to government would have no effect on political situation as per ongoing consequences.
He further said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should appear before the court over Panama Papers scandal. He added that Chairman PTI Imran Khan is not efficient enough to do politics whereas PM does not know how to govern the country. The PPP Leader said that his party has given a lot of invaluable sacrifices for democracy and the country. Its only PPP that stands with the poor of the country too, rest of all other parties are non-serious in eradicating the poverty from the country, he quoted.
