Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad arrived at Committee Chowk by moving through narrow streets on motorbike to address the public gathered for protest against the detention of party workers of PTI, AML and PAT. Sheikh Rasheed sat on the roof of DSNG Van to address the participants and said that he has fulfilled his promise of coming to rally’s venue in time by crossing all the barriers.
While talking to media, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that PMLN government has given the worst example of dictatorship through police crackdown. He gave a message to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and said that “Nawaz Sharif I had said I would come and now I have arrived, arrest me if you can”. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad once again said that PM Nawaz Sharif must present himself for accountability.

AML Chief also claimed that about 450 workers of AML and PTI have been apprehended so far in Police Crackdown. He also told the protesters that all the roads leading to his residence Lal Haweli are also blocked. Inspite of all the odds, sea of people will flood Islamabad on 2nd Nov, Sheikh Rasheed further added. He also alleged that Intelligence Bureau personnel are arresting his political workers in civilian dresses.
After addressing the protesters, Sheikh Rasheed left the scene in his own style and disappeared on motorbike. On the other end, despite anti-government speech by Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, the local administration has decided not to arrest AML Chief for now.
