PTI likely to appoint Babar Awan as new Lawyer for Panama Leaks Case

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is likely to appoint ex-senator and law expert Babar Awan as their new lawyer for Panama Leaks Case. Spokesperson PTI Naeem-ul-Haq said that the final decision will be made after discussing with Babar Awan about the decision.

Naeem-ul-Haq told that Chairman PTI Imran Khan will announce about the development formally on coming Tuesday. He further said that PTI is doing its job with extreme devotion and nation will have the good news soon.

PTI Spokesperson claimed that there is a lot of difference between the several statements being submitted by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Supreme Court of Pakistan. He also hoped that facts and figures will be brought into limelight.

Earlier, Hamid Khan stepped back from being PTI’s Lawyer in fighting the Panama Leaks Case. He called Imran Khan and informed about his decision that he cannot handle the media pressure and it is also not possible for him to fight the case on media front.

It was earlier reported that PTI leadership was also not happy with Hamid Khan as the Panama Leaks Case processed ahead and Imran Khan was being suggested to look for an alternate lawyer.

In the last hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali expressed his displeasure over the documents being submitted by PTI and declared those evidences insufficient. The apex court also said to Hamid Khan that with those evidences, PTI itself is ensuring a way out for Nawaz Sharif and his children from this case. The next hearing of Panama Leaks Case will resume on 29th Nov.
