Eid Milad-un-Nabi being celebrated today with religious zeal



Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) is being celebrated today with religious spirits and zeal across the country. The day started with 21-cannon salute in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar in respect of the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad and to pay homage to the greatest messenger of Almighty ALLAH.

To celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.), special prayers were being offered after Fajr Prayers for the unity of Muslims, their progress and prosperity in this world and hereafter. On this occasion, Mosques, houses, streets, roads, markets and government buildings were being decorated with lights and religious flags.

Public holiday was observed today and special conferences, religious gatherings, religious events with respect to the eve and various Mehfil-e-Milaad and Mehfil-e-Naats were being arranged and organized to pay respects to last messenger whose entire life and teachings are perfect guidelines for humanity. Qaseedah-e-Burdah Shareef also remained everybody’s favourite during observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi throughout the day.

Various relevant transmissions were also being on-aired on television channels where life of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) was brought into limelight and several religious clerics and Islamic scholars highlighted the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). Several religious organizations also arranged special events to mark the occasion.

On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also urged religious scholars and clerics to impart their role in eliminating terrorism from the country. While addressing National Seerat Conference in Lahore, PM Nawaz Sharif said that we should lead our lives under the light of teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).

Chairman PTI Imran Khan also took it to twitter and expressed his thoughts on the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). He said that along with celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammd (S.A.W.), Muslim Ummah should also follow the Prophet’s Sunnah.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited Dawat-e-Islami’s headquarters, Faizan-e-Madina. The administration of Faizan-e-Madina welcomed both of them. Bilawal Bhutto said that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.)’s way of living is the best example for us to lead a successful and balanced life.
