New Zealand & Australia welcome the New Year 2017

To welcome the new-year 2017, Auckland and Sydney became the first major world cities to welcome 2017, as New Year celebrations kicked off at Auckland’s Sky Tower and Sydney’s glittering harbour, attracting thousands of spectators to the colourful fireworks-displays.

New Year celebrations in New Zealand’s city Auckland kicked off with spectacular fireworks from the Sky City Tower, as the country New Zealand is among the first countries to welcome the New Year.

For celebrating and to welcome new-year 2017, thousands of people gathered and witness the multi-coloured fireworks which exploded across the Auckland’s city skyline at midnight. The Sky City, a casino and an event centre in Auckland, has an impressive 328 meters tall tower that provided a dramatic backdrop to the annual fireworks, an hour after Samoa welcomed in 2017.

In Australia, massive crowd gathered to watch the fireworks on Sydney’s glittering harbor. Around 1.5 million people were packed in Australia’s biggest city to watch the midnight fireworks.

Other countries are ready to welcome the new-year and preparations are ready for it. People across the globe pray and wish 2017 to be a better year than 2016 in every aspect. In Pakistan, New Year will also be celebrated and fireworks will be carried out to welcome the new-year.
