Panama Leaks Case’s verdict will change Pakistan’s future, says Imran Khan

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Panama Leaks Case would actually decide the future of Pakistan in terms of eradicating corruption from the system. If they get justice in the Panama Leaks Case against PM Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan will be a changed country and there will be no power holding Pakistan back from becoming a great nation, Khan said.

Imran Khan was addressing a huge political gathering in Bahawalpur where he slammed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for breaking all the records of corruption and hiding his laundered money. He said that Nawaz Sharif has become expert in looting money and doing corruption after ruling for over 30 years.

PTI Chairman said that it’s because of people behind the Panama Papers that today Nawaz Sharif’s corruption has been revealed. He was also of the view point that the genuine opposition by Tehreek-e-Insaf and their sit-ins have a played a key role in giving political sense and awareness to the people of Pakistan and made them realized the stolen tax money was invested in offshore companies by Sharif family.

Imran Khan told the party workers that Punjab’s money has been divided for a particular group of people according to which the 57% of Punjab’s budget goes to Lahore only, further adding that the strip of Bahawalpur and Siraiki section being as the poorest regions of the country get nothing from the budget.

Chairman PTI said that there was no need for Metro Bus in Multan, the most important priority is to give proper health and academic facilities along with the opportunities of building professional careers as well. He said that the Sharif brothers have no concern with this nation, they come in power only to fill their own pockets and leave the poor people deprived and helpless.

I always carry my coffin wherever I go around: Sheikh Rasheed

Earlier, Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad also addressed the people and said that he always carries his coffin wherever he goes around. He expressed his hopes that the Supreme Court of Pakistan will provide them with justice and the thief Nawaz Sharif will have nowhere to run. During his speech, Sheikh Rasheed also gave an indication of another sit-in behind Imran Khan.

Talal Chaudhary replies to Imran Khan’s speech

Responding to Imran Khan, PMLN leader Talal Chaudhary said that his party gets most of the votes from southern Punjab and his party has never ever discriminated between rural and urban areas. He said that Imran Khan will not be able to provide proof for his accusations, adding that he did not provide evidence in court as well. Talal said that PTI has made the same allegations that Pakistan People’s Party had made against them.
