Pakistan will be more aggressive in 3rd ODI, says Muhammad Hafeez



Pakistan’s standing ODI and former T20 Captain Muhammad Hafeez has said that they had played aggressive cricket in 2nd ODI after 1st ODI against Australia due to which they got successful in beating Australia at their home after a long gap of 12 years.

Talking in a presser in Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA), Muhammad Hafeez said that they have full confidence in their team and their bowlers have performed really very well in previous two ODIs. Muhammad Junaid after making comeback in the side has impressed a lot with his bowling, said the skipper. He also said that he has many expectations with Muhammad Amir as well to perform as per expectation.

Muhammad Hafeez said that they have pointed the negatives of their side and they have worked on them, hopefully players will not repeat the same mistakes again. He said that they are likely to go with the same team in 3rd ODI as of 2nd ODI, but the final decision will be taken as per conditions and pitch.

Earlier, Pakistan’s All Rounder and rising start Imad Wasim while talking to media, said that although they are at number 8 in ODI rankings, but yet their team is better because of their formation and possess the ability to beat any team in the world.

The 3rd ODI between Australia and Pakistan will be played today at WACA, Perth where both the teams will contest to lead the series 2-1. With the amazing victory in 2nd ODI, Pakistan managed to level the series 1-1 with impressive performance by bowlers and then by Muhammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik in batting.
