Justice Azmat Saeed remarked to Taufeeq Asif that he hasn’t read Syed Zafar’s Ali Shah’s file and the verdict being given.
Assistant JI Counsel also gave the arguments before the judges and said that all the evidence has been submitted and now tough responsibility lies on judges. To this the court remarked that what he is calling evidence is only “presented material” in the case.

London Flats are revealed by Panama Papers, says Imran Khan
Chairman PTI Imran Khan has said that it’s because of Panama Leaks Case that today, Sharif family has accepted and owned the London Flats, otherwise Sharifs would have never accepted that they owned the London Flats. He was talking to media representatives outside the Supreme Court.
Chairman PTI said that they have never stated that there were cases on Maryam Nawaz but have always maintained that Nawaz Sharif’s money is involved in the London Flats. Since 1993, the ownership of London Flats has not been changed, Khan added. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary stated that the case has entered into its final phases and now the PM’s children will have to explain for being rich.
Federal Ministers continue to defend PM’s Personal Case
State Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb continued defending the personal case of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and said that allegations hurled at PM’s daughter Maryam Nawaz are completely baseless and false. Some people have the habit to lie outside the SC and Imran Khan is trying to make Panama Leaks Case as the base of his politics, Maryam added.
PMLN leader Danial Aziz said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is elected by the people of Pakistan. Imran Khan is always being disrespectful towards institutions, he added. Monday’s Proceedings of Panama Leaks Case
In Monday’s proceedings, JI’s counsel pointed out that PM Sharif has lied over the floor of parliament on Panama Papers’ Revelation. The bench asked the PM’s Counsel Makhdoom Ali Khan to submit PM Nawaz Sharif’s response at the earliest over JI’s deliberations.
Taufeeq Asif argued that Federal Ministers are coming to the court in a bid to defend the Nawaz Sharif’s personal case, whereas Justice Khosa himself maintained that accusations in this case aren’t against the government but against a family and now the entire government is busy in protecting the Sharif family.
The apex court said that politicians need to have patience and wait for the verdict instead of making statements outside the Supreme Court. The PM’s counsel did not mention evidence when he made arguments in the case on his turn, rather presented only legal points, Justice Khosa remarked.
