Dawn Leaks remained part of discussion in 200th Corps Commander Conference

Dawn leaks once again came into discussion in 200th Corps Commander Conference held at General Headquarters (GHQ), conference also reviewed the overall situation in the country regarding to security matters. Meeting presided by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, COAS praised the performance of Security Forces including Police, Intelligence and other Law Enforcement Agencies for responding effectively to recent terrorist attacks.

As per ISPR, the Corps Commanders also hailed the performance of Security Forces for providing comprehensive security arrangements for Pakistan Super League (PSL) Final. Corps Commander Conference also discussed Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in detail where the Army Chief said that Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad is not against any particular political party but it is a comprehensive, across-the-board operation against terrorists and terrorism.

The Conference also reviewed the Geo-Strategic and Security Environment in the country, with special focus on Internal Security, Pak-Afghan Border Situation and Indian Ceasefire Violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary. The performance of Military Courts was also appreciated in the meeting agreeing, however, it was agreed that the final decision for extension in Military Courts is to be taken by the government.
