According to their opinions, we should promote our Country like others are doing so, If media portrays a good image of Pakistan then there will be chances of betterment of the Country. In 2014, 7 million people visited Paris which boosted their economy and in the same year less than one million came to Pakistan because as foreigners have labeled Pakistan as “Cradle of Terrorism”, it is because of the wrong expressive way of Pakistani media. In the wording of Pakistani Media “good news is no news” and this wording is destroying our very own Country.
Ministry of Knowledge Economy is in some foreign countries and Pakistan is having a need of this country.
Here 53 million people are using social media in Pakistan. If everyone raises his/her voice for the country or makes an effort by stepping ahead, it will surely help us in bringing the change in society. Social Media is having a lot of its positive points if one understands. Awareness is very necessary. The student of NUML Mr. Hashim Malik recommended something very perfect to the Secretary of PD&R that they should work to introduce the “Entrepreneurship” subject at all levels for the awareness, and his advice was appreciated by the all well-known people of Ministry. In this workshop positive points had been mentioned and the proper guidance to use social media in a proper way was managed.
All the well-known bloggers were interacted with each other which was really a stupendous thing this ministry had done. Every blogger is working and trying his best to bring a change in the society and country, but seriously it is not that easy like one can do it alone. If all bloggers and social and digital media experts work together for the expansion and buildout of positive objects then we can really achieve big things for the Country.
In the end of the workshop, bloggers received certificates by the Secretary of planning, Development & Reform. This event was a huge success and such type of conferences should be arranged in future for changing the mindset of bloggers.
