In present scenario, women are not safe outside their homes. They are seen a toys that everyone ready to play with them. Sexual harassment is violation of women’s human rights and a prohibited form of violence against women in society. Sexually harassing conduct causes devastating physical and psychological injuries to a large percentage of women in work places around the world. Harassment directed against women in the workplace by their supervisors, fellow employs.
Sexual harassment can happen anywhere but is common in workplace, schools, colleges and universities. It involves unwanted and unwelcome words, deeds, actions, gestures, symbols and behaviours of sexual nature that make the target make uncomfortable .
Sexual harassment or any kind of harassment during work hours in different places should be tackled firm handed and government should make some policies in terms of protecting women in our society. Through my this note I want to grab attention of the policy makers to make those laws through which women can feel safe in this society.
