Energizer, the company best known for selling high quality batteries, announced that they are going to unveil 26 new mobile phones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year with flagship features like pop-up cameras, a massive 18,000 mah battery and a foldable display.
Energizer’s entry into the smartphone industry is quite surprising. The company is partnering with the French telecommmucation giant Avenir Telecom to release these phones. The phones will be part of four lines:
The Energy branded phones by the company are said to be meant for everyday use.
Hardcase phones will be rugged, waterproof handsets.

The Power Max line will feature phones with high battery capacity, over 4000mah.
The Ultimate series of phones will consist of the company’s premium lineup.
Energizer has not yet revealed the specifications of all of its upcoming handsets, but it did give out some details on the Energizer Ultimate lineup.
GSM Arena reports that the Energizer Ultimate U620S Pop and U630S Pop run on P70 and P22 MediaTek Helio chipsets, respectively. Both have dual cameras in a motorized pop-up: a 16MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The U620S Pop has triple cameras in the back (16MP, 5MP, and 2MP) with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will be released in July, while the U630S Pop has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and is coming in June.
The Ultimate U570S and the U650S will feature 16 MP + 2 MP cameras on the back that will support Live Focus, Filters, Panorama and Beauty Face modes.
The new range of Energizer Ultimate phones will feature different models that will come equipped with batteries ranging from 3000 to 4000 mah, along with a USB-C port for charging. All the phones will run on Android 9.
There is no information available about foldable phone and the 18,000 mah battery phone, both of which will be revealed on 25th February at the MWC.
